Ever since I was very young, I had thoughts of travelling, seeing the world and discovering new cultures. Personally, I also think it is very important to be open to other cultures and learn about them. Only then do you realize how good we have it here in the Netherlands, in many ways.
Last year (2021-2022), I made several trips, including some on my own.
These will definitely not be my last trips, I already have something planned. Besides, I still want to discover so much of the world.
America 2021
In late November 2021, I went to Washington, DC, USA, for a fortnight. This is because a very good friend of mine lives here. He moved here because of his father's work. At the time, I had not seen him for 1.5 years, this was because of COVID-19. Which of course is really inconvenient, which is why I was so happy when I finally got the chance to visit him and his family. Am still so grateful for that time there, it really feels like a second home.
